In my attempt to expose the running community to a different type of cross training I am always on the look out for informative article or videos that I believe may be of some interest.  The following article is from a 1st time 100miler (VT 100) and talks about his training program.

I hope you enjoy this article and find it informative.

Have you been creeping on these posts?  Wanting to check it out, maybe even try a workout?

Then SATURDAY is your chance.  Beginning this Saturday (8 and 9am), and each Saturday from here on out is a FREE SATURDAY.

This is your chance to come out and see what it is like when we talk about training.
This Saturday will be a really great example of the intensity and sense of community that separates SPC from any other program.

So the last offer didn't hit with much success, actually not one person took us up on it.  Since I believe in our program so much, I am going to offer up another incentive to the running community.   In addition to that, my wanting to help the running community meet their fitness goals as well as decrease injuries has led to me signing up for additional learning.  In just a few months I will be obtaining an additional cert that is geared towards the running/endurance community.  Myself along with another one of our trainers will learn how to improve the training of endurance athletes through improved programming, nutrition and strength training.  The crazy thing is that this training has led to improved performance with decreased mileage and decreased injuries.

SPECIAL OFFER:

Come in from NOW until the end of the MONTH for FREE.  That is two weeks (usual is one free week) If you come in during the next two weeks, get addicted and decide to continue for 3 months, I will give you 40% off for those months.

Also, as a heads up:  Continue to checkout our site, aswe will begin holding seminars, open to all athletes, affiliated with SPC or not.
We are looking at:
Dec 2nd:  Nutrition Seminar
Mid Dec:  Active Release/ Manipulation Seminar
Mid Dec:  Running/POSE/Endurance Seminar
